Ça aurait la longueur d’un trait bleu’ is an installation project mixing kite flying, photography, mechanical printing and textile assembly. The work involves both sides of the ocean and everywhere in between, with the help of sailboats and airplanes.

A kite carries a camera, throws a glance towards the sea from up there in the sky.
Then a machine prints this body of water as a stretch of blue ink.
This line floats in space and divides it.

No matter how complex our techniques or how hard we work, the distances we have to cover are incompressible: they remain. And sometimes, we pass through them.
The world seems at once gigantic and tiny.
It could be the length of a blue line.
